Known under many names "Trash the Dress", "Cherish the Dress", "Rock the Frock" "Fearless-bride", "Extreme Bridal" are fashion style photo shoots increasing in popularity. It seems to be pointless to buy a dress that you will use for just one day and then leave it to gather dust in the back of a wardrobe.

Its not about destroying "The Dress", its about having some fun and getting some Wedding Photographs in different or unusual locations that you wouldn't get to go on your wedding day. 

These are the words in a wedding blog that started the trend "Go ahead, you know you want to. Trash it. Get it dirty. Get it wet. Roll around in the mud. Drench it in the ocean or river. Totally trash it. Why?, Why not? You've made a commitment to your husband. He is your one an only true love, right? Then you'll never need the dress again. And no, your daughter wont wear it in 20 or 30 years time. So you have 2 choices

1. Suffocate it in plastic and throw it in a closet never to be seen again.

2. Show your husband how committed you are by trashing the dress, and get some great fun pictures while you do it!

We may not have a coast around here, but there are lakes and rivers around if you want to use water, and we have some amazing woodlands, maybe a farmyard or a broken down industrial estate. Or maybe there is a particular special place you met, or kissed for the first time you'd like pictures taken at.
